You cannot get any closer to the beach than this large posada in Termales, about 45 minutes from Nuquí by boat. Refugio de Salomón is an impressive stone structure, the only one of its kind in the region. The cavernous first floor features a common area with a large wooden table carved from a massive tree trunk and offers panoramic views of the beach and bay.
Refugio de Salomón has a small store on the first floor stocked with beer and snacks for purchase. The posada has the only pool table for miles and is free for the guests.
Single, double, and triple rooms are available on the second floor. Two rooms have private bathrooms, the others share the downstairs bathroom. Some of the bedrooms are on the inside of the building and do not have windows.
Three meals included in the rate. Beer and snacks available for purchase. Expect traditional plates, including chicken and fish, with rice, plantains, and fresh fruit.
