Getting to Chocó

Nuquí (IATA Code: NQU) has its own small airport served by direct flights from Medellin (EOH) and Quibdó (UIB). It is also possible to book charter flights. (Please contact us for charter flights). We recommend that you minimize your luggage (maximum 10 kg), since the airplanes are small and offer limited storage space.

The adventurous can also reach Nuquí by boat.

By plane

Medellin: Direct flights are operated by the Colombian airlines ADA (http://www.ada-aero.com/) and Satena (http://www.satena.com) from the city airport Enrique Olaya Herrera (EOH) . The stunning scenery makes the 50-minute flight to Nuquí a unique experience.

Bogota / Cali: The airlines Satena and ADA offer flights to Nuquí. However, passengers have to change planes in Medellin.

Quibdó: Several airlines offer flights from the provincial capital Quibdo (UIB) to Nuquí. The flight time is about 20 minutes.

Charter - flights Nuquí: There are several charter flights leaving from Medellin. If you are going in a bigger group, it may worth to charter your own plane. Contact us here for more info.

By boat

From Buenaventura: Several cargo boats leave from the port of Buenaventura up to Nuquí. The journey takes 18-24 hours, some charter boats make the track in less time. Only for the adventurous travelers!
