San Pacho Festival in Chocó Colombia

 The party started. The most important popular festival of Colombia ́s pacific department of Chocó began this week and will last not only a few days or even two weeks but all a month. Every year, the „Fiestas de San Pacho“ begin on septembre 3rd.

Also the habitants of Nuqui Choco celebrate the San Pacho Festival, which is realized in honor of Saint Francis (San Francisco) of Asis, since more than 350 years. He is the patron of he department 's capital Quibdo.
